Piroque

In collaboration with Pirogue Communication and the design firm BCK Design, Idéeclic designed and developed three interactive games presented on 22-inch touch screen for the Musée regional de la Côte-Nord. Our mandate also included audio and video stations.

Based on the theme of the life in the old trading Post of sept-Îles, the first interactive invites visitors to discover how resources were transform. They learn how the salmon, the beaver and the seal were transform and how with their tools and techniques, craftspeople turned these creatures into useful products.

The second interactive proposes a job interview game to learn more on how the trading post worked. The visitors learn about the tasks of the clerk and the jobs at the trading post and the surrounding area.

In the last interactive, visitors discover four rituals that helped ensure the respectful hunter’s survival in Nitassinan, the land of the Innus.

Idéeclic plan the storyboard for the interactive, design, program and deploy them in the museum. Each interactive station has a screen saver to attract the visitor’s attention and a countdown when idle. In addition to the three games, the project also included two audio and video stations, all delivered in turn-key solution.
