Canadian Women of Innovation

In the winter of 2013 Idéeclic was commissioned by the Museum of Science and Technology Canada to develop a virtual timeline highlighting the contributions Canadian women have made to science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

This site was designed to promote STEM careers for young women. It features a variety of women - from Maud Abbot (heart surgery pioneer) to young female scientists and engineers active in the field today. It also provides information on careers in STEM, and links to interesting sites that help provide resources and financial aid for girls entering these fields.
